Customer Service

We offer the best warranty service

Every reputable builder wants to stand behind their work and satisfy their customers. In spite of the builder's best intentions, warranty problems sometimes get lost in the bustle and demands of newer projects. All too often the customer is not satisfied with the warranty service they receive.

The Horst Construction Warranty Department makes it our goal to prevent problems from getting lost in the shuffle, and to satisfy customers with the service they receive throughout the warranty period. The following questions and answers tell more about how we achieve this goal.

Q. What does the Horst Construction Warranty Department do?
A. Stated simply, we try to insure that our customers get the product for which they paid. This means correcting any problems that arise with Horst Construction's work. It also includes coordinating the work of subcontractors in standing behind their respective warranties.

Q. What makes the Horst Construction approach unique from other construction company warranty services?
A. Most construction companies send the original project manager or superintendent back to resolve warranty problems. Horst Construction has people whose primary responsibility is to perform warranty service on all warranted projects. This setup allows warranty work to be our priority rather than taking time away from someone else's project to resolve warranty issues. Our secondary focus is on quality control and continual process improvement during the construction.

Q. Does every customer get a warranty?
A. Yes. All our construction projects are warranted for one year. Manufacturers extend some equipment and material warranties longer.

Q. Does Warranty ever say "no" when a customer calls?
A. We try to find other ways to help our customers when a problem is not covered by our warranty. We offer information and steer them in the right direction to find resolution from responsible sources.

Q. After the warranty period ends, what happens?
A. We continue to serve as a source of information for our customers. If something comes to light that was clearly not done correctly, we make it right.
