Horst Intensifies Its Commitment to the Religious Sector

At Stewardship University on March 3

There’s no question that both the leadership team and employees at Horst Construction are serious about our commitment to the religious sector, on multiple levels—from the buildings we create and the approach we take to our values as a company. Horst Construction has delivered its experience, integrity, and craftsmanship for over 120 years to build exceptional religious environments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Horst has completed over 185 church projects since 1975, enhancing the spiritual lives of over 37,000 congregants.

As a trusted partner, we walk our clients through the journey—that of building, expanding, enhancing or redefining a church—to turn vision into reality. We believe in building with a purpose from the very beginning, using collaboration, value engineering, and a passion for excellence as underlying principles to our approach. Through Horst’s facilitated Master Planning process, guided by Rick Lown, RA, NCARB, many of these churches have been able to synthesize a solution that incorporates the dreams, ideas, and community needs of various constituents, while creating a functional, efficient, and visually appealing physical structure.

Now, Horst is taking its commitment to a new level by sponsoring Stewardship University, a full day of workshops organized by Everence, a well-known faith-based financial services organization. The event takes place on March 3, 2018 at Calvary Church in Lancaster, PA. Horst originally built Calvary back in 1999, featuring a large contemporary sanctuary, traditional chapel, nursery, full gymnasium, multiple classrooms, commercial kitchen, and large dining facility with moveable walls.

We invite you to consider attending Stewardship University. If you do, we encourage you to attend Rick Lown’s session—How to capture your ministry vision for your next church construction project. At his session, you will learn how to create a master plan to fulfill your ministry goals and to use your building as a tool to expand God’s Kingdom. Horst can show you how to dream big, strengthen congregational support and create unity, yet match the cost of any project to the financial resources that God provides to be the best stewards of your property.

While enjoying the day’s events, we also invite you to visit us at our booth to say hello. We will be giving away two tickets to Sight & Sound’s new show, Jesus. We would love the opportunity to talk to you and learn more about your church or religious organization.
