Steve Smith

Steve Smith is the Chief Estimator of Horst Construction and draws upon nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Steve’s leadership of the estimating department includes guiding all efforts to accurately budget, bid, and negotiate projects in every Horst market segment. Steve implements best practices, procedures and process for the estimating department to ensure our clients received a resourceful and dependable estimate. He ensures that the estimating team listens and clearly communicates the programming needs of our client when developing scopes of work for our negotiated projects. Steve also leads his team to prepare cost saving or value enhancement alternate suggestions for clients to consider whenever possible throughout our estimating process.
