Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology – Dormitory Renovations

Thaddeus Stevens purchased this century-old former hospital with plans to renovate it into a modern student dormitory. The 28,791 sf building features five stories and was beautifully updated to include 59 dorm rooms that have 118 beds throughout three floors. The ground floor was fit-out for classrooms and offices, while the basement houses mechanical systems that were upgraded. The exterior of the building maintains the charm associated with architecture from the 1920s, while the updated interiors offer the facilities Thaddeus Stevens students expect from dormitory living.
